LG recently introduced a new mobile phone line dubbed Shine in parallel to the Chocolate line.

The Shine Designer's Edition pretty much looks like the original Shine, but has engraving all over the backside. I cannot make out anything else from the translated Korean announcement. I still hope LG will let it Shine outside of Korea soon.

LG is more and more becoming a major player in the mobile phone biz. The new Touch screen phone KE850, which will possibly be the basis for the LG Prada phone are exciting new developments for 2007.
The LG Shine series features a brushed metal case and a mirrored display. Other features include a 2MP camera with a Schneider Kreuzach lens, 2.6 inch QVGA display, 1GB storage, mp3 player and Muvee Video studio.
