I wanted to play the Nintendo Wii together with my wife over the holiday weekend, so I needed a second Wiimote. A cool way to get one is the Wii Play package.
Wii Play is available in Europe (49.99Euro on Amazon.de) , but has for some reason been delayed to February 12th 2007 in the United States (Listing on Amazon).
Wii Play is a collection of nine mini games that help you train your Wiimote skills. Games include shooting balloons, find Miis, play table tennis, riding bulls (Charge), billiard, fishing, Laser Hockey and more. All games are multi-player, which is key of making them fun to play. Our favorites turned out to be laser hockey and riding those bulls. The bulls game is just damn funny.
I can imagine that several of these mini Wii games are a total hit with young kids.
The games need to be played free first. Which does not take that long as they are easy to play. As said above playing them together is where the real fun is.
Wii Play is a neat way to buy a 2nd Wii remote and well worth the couple more dollars.
