This looks like something out of a spy novel, tape that talks. The tape is a long thing plastic strip with ridges running along it. To hear the tape talk you have to magnify the sound created by running your thumb nail along the ridges.

To magnify the sound you can hold it between the teeth and the sound is magnified so that you can hear it. You can also tape the…tape to a balloon on one end to magnify the sound allowing those nearby to hear it.
You can get tapes that say different phrases such as happy birthday, congratulations, have a nice day and two mystery sayings. The talking tapes come in packs of 20 with 4 of each saying.
