If you are tired of your laptop petering out after a mere few hours of use, Samsung has a dock they are showing off set to be launched at the end of 2007 that could power your laptop for up to one month.
I can hardly imagine not having to plug in my laptop for a month, yet that is what Samsung claims is possible with their Q35 Ultraportable. Sure if you use a real laptop like one of the SLI behemoths form Alienware you will get lots less time than that, but even going an entire day without needing to plug in would be great for many of us. Samsung is claiming their fuel cell has 650Wh/L making it have about four times the energy density as competing offerings. Supposedly a mini version of the dock that holds a tea cup worth of fuel is in the works that will provide 15 hours of run time. Could 2007 be the year of the fuel cell? Story and image via Engadget.
