If you are a billionaire geek that fears being kidnapped and held for ransom or just your average geek that needs help remembering where you left your shoes Covert Shoes has an interesting product to help.
These shoes look like any other run of the mill footwear, but inside they hide a GPS tracker that is activated by a panic button. The theory is that should something untoward happen to you the person monitoring your ummm…shoes can find you.
Think of this as sort of a personal Lojack system. I guess you could “forget” your shoes in your significant others vehicle too and see exactly where they go while you are at work. You could also use the shoes to find your luggage next time you fly. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech.
