EVGA is announcing their e-GeForce 8800 GTX KO w/ACS3, a yea that is a mouth full. Basically the card is an overclocked 8800 GTX with a custom cooling solution. It shares the same features with the other 8800 GTX cards from Foxconn and XFX.
The EVGA KO edition has a 2.0 GHz clock speed on the memory and a core clock speed of 626 MHz. To compare the XFX 8800 GTX XXX has the same memory clock speed but has a few more MHz on the core with 630 MHz. As for the cooling system it appears that it might just be a different fan cover. XFX uses the stock 1350 MHz shader clock speed on all their cards, even the XXX, and the EVGA shader clock is listed at 1.45 GHz so this is the first 8800 GTX I have seen that overclocks all three clock speeds available on the 8800 GTX. However, I am not sure if that single clock would make a performance difference. I have one of the XXX XFX cards in hand and hope to be able to get the EVGA card after CES and see which card comes out on top.
