The Casio G'zOne outdoor mobile phone is available in from Verizon.
Casio introduced the G'zOne in Japan back in 2005 already. The G'zOne is for tough outdoor people. I am amazed that Casio did not introduce this phone earlier in the United States.
Casio has a fun promo site for the G'zOne where you see a guy taking a call under the shower with the water proof phone and tries to do other damage to this robust phone.
Amazon sells the G'zOne Type-V for $249.99.
Toughness comes at a price. The G'zOne is a bit big with 3.58x1.93x0.92 inches.
Other features include 2MP camera, QVGA display, EV-DO support, V Cast support, flashlight and a GPS feature that enables VZ Navigator functionality.
