If your GPS jones has you so desperate to not be without your tracking gear that you want to literally strap a GPS receiver to your wrist you are in luck. The new GH-615 wrist watch is a largish looking device that houses a SiRF Star III GPS antenna.
The antenna supports WAAS/EGNOS and offers up tracking, positioning and time alert functions. You can also connect the watch to your notebook PC to use in other mapping applications. The watch is programmed to automatically record the user’s route by marking and saving points as you go. This is one device I could have used during my trip to CES 2007 that could have helped me to find my way out of the depths of central hall. Story and image via Gizmodo.
