The QX6700 is basically a pair of Core 2 Duo CPUs grafted together on one CPU die. The processor has a large 8MB cache and will fit into any mainboard capable of running a Core 2 Duo CPU, which is great news for those looking to upgrade their Core 2 Duo to quad core. I have also heard of problems from some other QX6700 users that revolve around the bios picking CPU multipliers that are less than default making the processor run slower than intended.
