Ten Technology offers a wireless remote control for the Apple iPod.
The naviPod consists of a 5-button infrared remote control and a receiver unit that plugs directly into the top of the iPod. By connecting the iPod to a stereo receiver or pair of self-powered speakers combined with the naviPod and the result is a full iPod powered audio system. The naviPOD remote allows to control the iPod's Play/Pause, Next, Previous, and Volume functions.
Amazon.com sells the naviPod for the original iPod and the naviPod for the new 3G iPod for $49.88.
