Researchers at Purdue University are working on a generator that uses all types of garbage to product usable electricity. They are calling the device the “tactical biorefinery” and if it sounds like a military like name, it is designed with a soldiers needs in mind.
The idea is that soldiers take this generator with them and it can take care of the garbage while creating electricity that is needed as well. Supposedly, the generator creates 90% more power than it uses. This is all in the experimental stages so there is no word on when or if the generator will ever come to market. If it does come to market and it will run off dirty diapers I can corner the electricity market and make the electric company pay me each month instead of the other way around.
