Samsung is unveiling the world’s thinnest 7-mega pixel camera with 7x optical zoom called the L77. This tiny camera is a mere 97mm x 57mm x 21mm thick. While Samsung made the camera small and thin, it still packs many features.
The LCD screen is a 2.5” TFT LCD and the camera uses Samsung’s advanced shake reduction. I see Samsung omitted the cool and supremely easy to use touch navigation system from the NV10. Lots of different settings and adjustability are built in for the point and shoot crowd as well as those who like manual control of their shots. The camera can also shoot full motion video at 30fps in MPEG-4 format. You can also edit video and images right on the camera. Availability is set for April of 2007 and no pricing is mentioned at this time. Sounds like a pretty cool camera. Story and image via DP Review
