If you like, the feel of the wind in your hair but like more than two wheels and an old-fashioned trike is a bit to goofy for you Can-am has an option to consider. This is a three-wheel motorcycle but rather than two wheels in the back, there are two in the front and one in the rear.
The guts of the Spyder is a Rotax 998cc engine putting out 106hp connected to a steel frame and riding on a suspension more like a car than a traditional motorcycle. The gauge cluster is a multifunction device, which I would assume means that you get one gauge that can show different things as needed. The tranny is a five speed sequential design that gives you a reverse gear and there is an optional thumb mounted electronic shifter for an easier ride. The vehicle has four control units that handle vehicle stability to keep the wheels from slipping and security. With 106hp on tap and a curb weight of only 697 pounds dry the Spyder should have decent performance as well. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech
