Alarm clocks are getting away from the traditional beep or music and going to more ambitious methods of getting your sorry butt out of bed. The Wake ‘n Bacon is designed to get the most ardent snooze button pusher out of the sack.

So how does this piggy clock get you out of bed, with bacon naturally. Come on, who in their right mind is going to sleep through the scent of yummy bacon wafting through the air of their house. Though I do admit it is a bit gross to eat bacon that has been sitting out all night.
I can only assume this clock is meant to be used in the kitchen, after all an alarm clock that cooks bacon at your bedside would just be weird. Bacon starts cooking 10 minutes before your wakeup time so it’s nice and crispy when you open your eyes. The drawback is that you have to clean bacon grease out of your clock and if you are one of those weird vegetarian types you are out of luck, unless this thing can cook tofu. Do you even cook tofu?
