At the Sony executive strategy meeting in New York Sony showed the first concept of the Sony PSP, but also made some other statements in regards to going against the Apple iPod.
In a News Story on Yahoo it reads: "Sony executives said that next year it will introduce versions of a rival music player to the iPod for as little as $60, a price only one-quarter or less than the $200 to $400 Apple charges for various versions of its sleek product."
60 bucks that would be pretty amazing for an hard drive based MP3 Player. If this statement holds any truth is hard to say.
