OCZ has launched their newest addition to their line of high performance gaming memory called the Reaper HPC. The RAM is designed to run at 1066MHz with 5-5-5-15 latencies and is available only in 2GB dual channel kits.
Reaper HTC is EPP-ready and requires at least 2.1 volts, though it has OCZ’s 2.4V EVP so you can over volt the RAM without voiding the warranty. OCZ uses a new heat sink design on the Reaper HPC RAM that uses two copper heat pipes to move heat from the RAM. Once the heat rises from the RAM up the pipes it is dissipated through the compact aluminum fin array. This heat sink design looks cool and is less bulky looking that the FlexXLC RAM OCZ still sells.
