We all know that brushing our teeth can keep us out of the dentist’s office. A company called Ultreo has a new toothbrush aimed to make us have to visit the dentist even less by using ultrasound waves.
The toothbrush makes bubbles in your mouth with power tip bristles. Then the ultrasound eaves channels energy into the bubbles to help remove bacteria and plaque from between your teeth. Ultreo also uses some interesting methods to be sure you brush long enough and don’t miss areas. A time shuts the Ultreo off after two-minutes of brushing time as recommended by dentists. A brushing interval signal goes off every 30 seconds to remind you to clean all areas of your teeth. You also get notification to change the brush head and to recharge the toothbrush as well. Ultreo claims to be able to remove 95% of plaque from between teeth in the first minute of brushing. Story and image via Sci Fi Tech
