One of the things I seem to have the hardest time doing when I review TVs is finding a place to put my Denon front channel speakers. Yamaha has a definite solution to his problem with the AVX-LC30 TV Rack that comes with built-in speakers including a sub and a Dolby amplifier.

The stand can support up to 42” TVs and the amp is a six-channel job with 35W speakers and a sub covered in fake wood material. There are also a few more shelves for you to place your gaming console, DVD player and cable box on as well. Personally I’d like to see more shelves on the thing, it looks like it will get full fast with a DVD player, cable box, Wii and PS3 sitting on the shelves. Those that have separate TIVO boxes will be even more hard pressed to fit all their gear in. Pricing is set at $780 which isn’t bad, a decent TV stand goes for around $300. I’d prefer to see Yamaha integrate one of those one piece speaker systems they sell into the unit myself. Story and image via Newlaunches.
