Sanyo announces the DMX-CG65 digital pocket camcorder in Japan.

The new Xacti DMX-CG65 supports the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format ideal for internet video publishing. When using a 8GB SDHC card you can record 10 hours in TV-HQ mode. The CG65 has a 6MP CCD and 5x optical zoom lens.

Other features of the new Xacti DMX-CG65 include a 2.5 inch screen, AV out, built-in stereo speaker, built-in monaural mic and up to ISO 1600 sensitivity.
Measurements of the DMX-CG65 are 67.7×100.3×34.5mm (144cc volume). The weight is 150g.
Sanyo offers the DMX-CG65 in three colors: silver, green (very trendy!) and black. The new Xacti CG65 will start shipping in April.
