When Logitech announced the ChillStream PS3 controller it was pretty cool but was lacking only because it was corded. Now Logitech is announcing a new wireless controller for PS3 called the Cordless Precision.
The controller uses 2.4GHz RF technology for better control from up to 30 feet away from the PS3. Like the stock controller for PS3 Logitech also includes a PS button for accessing the PS3 menu with one button press.
Rounding out the controller functionality is the dual analog sticks as well as a D-Pad on the left that works with compatible games. The controller description says that it features dual analog triggers as well. What I am not clear on is if the dual triggers are set up like the top buttons on the stock controller or if they are set up like normal triggers behind the “wings” that you grip to hold the control. I’m betting it is set up more like the standard controller.
