So how do the uber rich keep up with the Jones'? I imagine it’s something like this, the wealthy geek down the road gets the 103” plasma showed off at CES this year and brags around the putting green about his home theater.
Update:
This display panel is actually a LED elements based unit and cannot be compared to a Plasma or LCD HDTV Engadget found out. Philips has similar LED based displays also for home use that come in 120 inch size dubbed Candeo.
Not to be out done his pal opts to go bigger and whips out the checkbook to buy the uber HDTV with a 205” screen. That my friend is a wall of HDTV goodness second to none, heck my house isn’t big enough for a screen like that. Oh what fun it would be to play some Wii sports on a screen that large!
No words on the particulars of the screen like say the contrast ratio, resolution or brightness. Boring stuff like that isn’t nearly as important as sheer screen girth, right? No mention of price either, but you know what they say about asking the price. Story and image via Techdigest.
