Acer said at the CeBit to release a Ferrari branded GPS PDA based on the Acer c500 series.

Acer has already released several Ferrari branded notebooks in the past. Now they expand the fastest red on the planet to handhelds.

Sharp already introduced a Ferrari branded mobile phone in 2005. So the Acer GPS will not be the first portable device in the Scuderia Ferrari colors.
Heise (German) reports that Acer is not revealing yet any details on the price and release schedule for the Ferrari GPS navigation device.

Ferrari has licensed their brand to several consumer electronics companies already. In 2003 Olympus already showed a camera and also Acer was already featuring their first Ferrari notebook back then.
