Panasonic announces two new LCD HDTV sets in Japan with Viera Link.
The Panasonic Viera TH-32LX70 is a 32 inch HDTV with 7,000:1 contrast ratio and 1,366x768 pixel resolution. The new LCD panel features IPS alpha technology, which is supposed to provide for a clearer picture.
Other features include digital tuner with EPG, 2 HDMI ports, Ethernet Port and 126W power consumption.
The Viera TH-26LX70 has the same feature set but is only 26 inch in size.
Viera Link is the single remote control solution from Panasonic that allows you to control all your components, as long as they are from Panasonic.
It looks like it is now hip to promote the single remote, single button control feature. Sony touted last week at the Sony Media Experience how innovative their BRAVIA Theatre Sync is.
The new Panasonic Viera LCD flat screens go on sale on 20th of April in Japan.
