Activision has an announcement all Guitar Hero II players will be glad to hear. They announced that downloadable content for Guitar Hero II on the Xbox 360 console will be made available. Nine songs from the original Guitar Hero game will be downloadable via the Xbox Live Marketplace starting today.

Activision is taking it a step further than simply offering old content to Xbox fans, they are vowing to make fresh songs available monthly for the Xbox Guitar Hero II game.
