Sony, Toshiba and Matsushita Commercializing OLED TVs

Sony plans to manufacture 1,000 11 inch OLED display per month starting this year. A joint venture between Toshiba and Matsushita said today that they will start selling OLED based TVs in 3 years.
So Sony seems to be ahead of the OLED TV game. But what are we supposed todo with an 11 inch TV? Hold it very close to our eyes to see the HD content? After all Sony is HD and HD is Sony. Sony actually thinks that these small OLED displays find use in advertising or information assistance.
OLED TV promise to be very thin, energy efficient, good at showing fast action and 200x contrast ratio of current LCD TVs.
