One of the most infamous crimes in the history of the USA has to be the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Those of us who weren’t around when the assassination occurred may not know much more than what we saw in the Kevin Costner flick and learned in school. One of the key pieces of evidence and one of the most important historical documents of the assassination is what is known as the “Moorman Polaroid”.

This photo what shot by Dallas resident Mary Ann Moorman on November 22, 1963 and shows JFK at the moment he was assassinated. In the shot you can also see the grassy knoll and Abraham Zapruder as he is making his famous home movie of the assassination. Ms. Moorman even shows up in the Zapruder film as the lady wearing the blue coat.

This historical photo was shot with a Polaroid Land Camera Model 80A and has been in the position of the official investigators as well as The 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in Dallas. Ms. Moorman and Legend Sales are putting the photo up for auction on eBay starting Monday for sale to the highest bidder.
