Samsung launches a Ultra-Edition 5.9 phone in Korea dubbed SCH-C210.
Samsung announced the 5.9mm ultra-thin Ultra-Edition phones in February. Under the model name SCH-C210 the company offers now the world's thinnest phone in their local Korean market.
Features of the SCH-C210 include a 1.93 inch screen, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, MP3 player and electronic dictionary.
Back in the original announcement of the Ultra-edition 5.9 (U100) Samsung specified a 3MP camera. It is unclear if Samsung will launch various Ultra-Edition 5.9 phones with different capabilities.
Samsung manufactures these extremely thin handsets with their proprietary Smart Surface Mounting Technology (SSMT).
Carrier SK Telecom will offer the SCH-C210 in Korea.
More details in this Samsung press-release (Korean).
