Samsung introduces the SGH-i400 running Nokia's Symbian S60 OS.

The slider-style Samsung i400 smartphone features a 2.3 inch QVGA screen, 2 Megapixel camera, music key, stereo dual speaker, Bluetooth 2.0, USB, web browser and microSD cards slot (up to 4GB).

S.P. Yoon, Vice President of Samsung’s Telecommunications Network Business said, “We are happy to introduce our new Symbian based smartphone SGH-i400 which follows the earlier release of SGH-i520, the first Symbian OS smartphone. We can provide a convenient mobile phone experience for our users by adopting Symbian S60.” He added, “Samsung is excited to present new smartphones to our customers around the world, and we will continue to reveal new models to fit our customers’ needs.” The GPRS/EDGE Tri-Band (900/1800/1900) SGH-i400 measures 101x50x15.8mm and weighs 92g.
Samsung will launch the i400 in Russia from July 2007. The phone is supposed to be available soon there after in other European countries.
