A rumor surfaced saying that Microsoft will announce a new Zune player tomorrow on Monday.
iPod site iLounge (via Gizmodo) has posted that information. They do not give a source. Their guess is that Microsoft is announcing a flash based Zune to compete with Apple's iPod nano players.
Microsoft needs to push out their Zune player iterations on a fast pace to catch up or better overtake the current Apple iPod generation.
A small flash based Zune player with built-in Wifi, that is smaller and more stylish than a the Sansa Connect could be attractive. Let's see what MS is dishing out on Monday. Of course it could also just a be a normal morning up in Redmond with nothing happening.
