LED back lighting is not enough; Samsung says it has to be a white LED.

LED BLU gives you better color reproduction and lacks bad stuff like mercury or halogen.
How this white LED technology is improving the LCD panel quality is not clear to me as the Google Korean translation is sketchy. Advantages could be possibly related to cost.
