The updated software provides more features for users of the MusicCast MCX-1000 and MCX-A10 satellite units. The New features include, Broadcast mode, which lets users play the same music on all MCX-A10 units. Also new the continous play option. The new software will be made available on CD-Rom to Yamaha MusicCast Customers.
Yamaha has a special promotion, depending on the number of MCX-A10 units customers buy they get rebates and free speakers.
The MusicCast system is supposed to be shipping. I could not find a store that has it in stock. The MusicCast Server MCX-1000 is listed at Amazon.com and on J&R.com
for $2,200. The MCX-A10 is in stock at Amazon.com and sells for $599.88.
Please email us if you see the MCX-1000 in stock somewhere. Supposedly The Good Guys have it in the Stores.
