Update:
Sony PS3 firmware 2.0 officially released.
Yesterday a list of the features and improvements in the Sony PS3 Firmware 2.0 Leaked on a discussion board. The news about the list spread very quickly. Now the poster says somebody spoofed his forum account to make the post.
The list looks pretty real and Sony PS3 fans like what they see. Highlight of the apparent fake list is the availability of the XMB (XrossMediaBar) during gameplay.
The list could also be real and the poster just wants to pull back to not get into trouble with Sony - who knows.
We are currently at firmware version 1.70 for the Sony PS3. A 2.0 is still a bit far out. I expect a major firmware update when Sony is launching Playstation Home later this year.
