Wacom launches new tablet input device that is aimed at all computer users.
The Wacom Bamboo supports Windows Vista's pen functions and also works with Apple OS X. The idea is that you can doodle and add handwritten notes to emails and documents to make them more personal.
The active area of the Bamboo is 147.6x92.3mm with overall measurements of 200x186x10.7mm. The accuracy is +/- 0.5mm and the tablet supports 512 pressure levels.
The so called touch ring on top allows for instant zoom and scroll.
The tablet connects via USB to a computer. The pen does not need any batteries. Pricing and availability information has not been disclosed yet.
