Sony will launch with a 80GB Sony PS3 in Korea.
Korea had to wait a long time to get the Sony PS3. Now Sony gives them a little treat by releasing a PS3 with a new larger 80GB hard-drive.
The price for the 80GB PS3 in Korea is 518,000 won (~$557).
Besides the new hard-drive the Sony PS3 console is the same that Sony released in Europe.
The PS3 will launch on June 16th in Korea.
More details on the Korean Sony Playstation site. Via Engadget.
In April a Sony representative was quoted saying that a PS3 with a larger hard-drive is in consideration. Well, it is true. Korea gets a PS3 with a larger HDD.
A larger hdd is not that of a big deal, as you can easily add a larger HDD in your PS3.
