Panasonic is jumping into the 12MP crowd with their latest cam, the DMC-FX100. If you are the club hopping type hoping to get a shot of Lindsay Lohan snorting cheesy poofs in the ladies room you will be glad to hear that the cam has a wide angle lens that allows you to get more folks in a shot taken in small quarters.

The cam has 3.6 times optical zoom, which sort of sucks, and a 28mm to 100 mm focal length, f/2.8 to f/5.6. Panasonic also adds their Mega O.I.S to get the shake out of your snaps and a 2.5” LCD screen.

Some other features are a top sensitivity of ISO 6,400, but that ISO setting can only be reached in 3MP mode. The cam will be available in both silver and black in July of this year. via Crave
