I saw something on the Discovery Channel once that was so ridiculous I just had to keep watching. These people were wandering through the desert looking for these hot spots of psychic energy. I recall there were lots of flowing robes, crystals, pyramids and crazy people with bad dental hygiene involved.

This new product from HeartMath falls into the same kooky realm as that Discovery Channel show. emWave PC is supposed to be a stress reducing system that uses your PC to run software and a sensor that connects via USB that you attach to your ear or your finger to measure your heart rate. It seems that somehow the software also measures your brain activity (though a lot can be said about your brain activity if you buy this thing) and helps you turn stress into renewed energy.

When all works as planned (which I suspect will never happen) you are supposed to be able to get your heart, nervous system and brain working in harmony, thereby reducing stress. Three games are included that are powered by your ability to turn stress into said renewed energy. No word on pricing, but it seems new wave stuff is always expensive. via HeartMath press release.
