If you ever wanted to be able to take your own time-lapse photos, the Lomo Oktomat camera makes that easy. There are eight different lenses built into the camera that make eight sequential images appear on one single 35mm negative.
That means each photo you take and have developed will have eight smaller images on it that show your subject as it moves. All eight shots are takes in a 2.5-second time span. This sounds pretty cool, but I haven’t owned a film camera since like 1999.
You might expect this type of camera to be expensive, or maybe not given the decidedly 70’s styling and child’s toy red color. At any rate, the price of the camera over on Amazon is a mere $29.99. This camera might be just the thing for shooting pics of the fireworks on the Fourth of July or beach shots during your summer vacation.
I have to wonder how hard it would be to keep the camera still and focused on the same spot long enough for all the lenses to fire, I have a hard time getting shots with my digi cam that aren’t motion blurred sometimes. Via Uncrate
