David Reeves, SCEE president told MCV UK this week that the Sony sold 1 million Sony PS3 consoles in the PAL regions.
The Sony PS3 launched on March 23rd. That means Sony reached the 1 million mark under 10 weeks. the 1 million number is supposed to be real sell-through.
The PS3 sold faster in the PAL region than the PS2 and the PSOne did.
The most sold game is Resistance: Fall of Man, which reached 600,000 units to date.
Sales of the PS3 are slow in the US and Japan compared to the Wii. Coming Christmas will be the next show-down of the consoles. If Sony does everything right with Playstation Home, the could be the leaders of the video game sales charts.
