Sharp introduces a new generation of its Papyrus electronic dictionary computers. In the previous Papyrus generation they added a touch pad with handwriting recognition. This time they add digital TV reception (Wansegu) into the Papyrus PW-TC920.
I wonder when Sharp will have their Papyrus reach the capabilities of an UMPC. It will not take much longer.
The PW-TC920 features a 4.3 inch ASV color LCD screen with 480x272px resolution and has and SD card slot. Besides electronic dictionary functions the Papyrus is of course also playing music.
Measurements of the new Papyrus are 132x91.7x24mm.
The new Sharp Papyrus PW-TC920 will start shipping end of June.
