Samsung introduces three new full HD (1080p) LCD HDTVs in their PAVV branded line in Korea.
The new Samsung HDTVs feature seamlessly hidden speakers in a stylish frame and a screen with a contrast ratio of an amazing 17,000:1.
There is a LED light in the lower center that is supposed to accentuate the all black frame design. I am not a fan of bright LEDs on the TV - it is distracting. I hope users can switch that light off.
The three new PAVV series HDTVs include the 40 inch LN40M92BD, the 46 inch LN46M92BD and the 52 inch LN52M92BD.
In March Samsung introduced the 40" LN40M81BD 46" LN46M81BD and 52" LN52M81BD, which had a contrast ratio of 15,000:1.
The Samsung LNT4665F 46 inch 1080p, which is sold in currently in the US, also has 12,000:1.
