A story over at DailyTech is reporting that Apple has a stockpile of three million iPhone's ready to ship on June 29th for launch day. If that many phones are ready and waiting to hit store shelves, which likely means every geek who wants one will be able to get one.
DT also claims that analysts think Apple will only sell 3 million iPhone’s in all of 2007, so if that holds true we will be seeing every phone they can sell in one year available from day one.
Some sources cited by DT are saying that they predict Apple to sell a whopping 40 million iPhone’s in 2009, but that Apple will need a lower cost model for casual users. Am I the only geek out there who isn’t excited about the iPhone? via DailyTech
