DivX is announcing today that SanDisk has signed a license agreement to bring DivX video compatibility to the Sansa line of mobile DAP devices. The SanDisk video products will now include interoperability with the DivX Stage6 video.

"This partnership aims to allow our customers to take full advantage of innovative video features and content found only through DivX," said Daniel Schreiber, Senior Vice-President and General Manager for SanDisk's Audio Video Business Unit.”

The lack of DivX compatibility has been on of the worst points of the SanDisk Sansa line of players and this agreement should go along way toward making mobile video fans look closer at SanDisk products. Via DivX
