The Easy-Glider is a new personal transportation device that is looking to take on the Segway in the miniscule geeky transportation device segment. I will say that the Easy-glider looks cool, it reminds me of a robot drawn chariot or rickshaw from Starwars.
The device is electric powered by a 360-watt electric motor with a top speed of 13mph and a range of 10-15 miles. Pricing in Europe is said to be about $1300, which seems a bit steep to me.
However, at $1300 it is much cheaper than the Segway and sort of looks cooler to me. You can even get an optional MP3 player, but what sort of electric chariot riding geek wouldn’t already own an iPod? via Sci Fi Tech
