Sony Ericsson introduced the new 3G K530 handset with support for the new GPS Enabler HGE-100.
The Sony Ericsson K530 is the first phone to be compatible with the new GPS Enabler HGE-100, which plugs into the phone to turn it into your own personal satellite navigation system. The HGE-100 can also be used as the K530 stereo headset.
Other features of the Sony Ericsson K530 include 2MP camera, 2 inch color screen, M2 memory stick slot, 9 hours GSM talktime, 3 hours UMTS talktime, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), MP3 player, video playback and FM radio.
Measurements of the K530 are 102 x 46 x 14 mm and the weight is 92g. These are pretty small measurements for 3G phone.
The K530 is a UMTS 2100 and GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 phone and is available in Warm Silver in selected markets from Q3 2007. The GPS Enabler HGE-100 will be available in selected markets from Q3 2007 as well.
