The most advanced wristphone has shipped. I4U reader and early adopter John T. from Greece just sent us photos of his new M500 wristphone he received from Australian SMS Technology.
John T. got the M300 wristphone last week, which is now available from several Asian importers. Now he also has the M500 GSM phone on his wrist.
The M500 comes in a nice wooden box and has a large touch screen.
The box contains besides the watch, 2 batteries, USB cable for the watch and a USB cable for the small Bluetooth headset. The watch needs to be charged via the USB cable.
The watch makes a solid impression. Only the battery cover on the back could be problem as it is only held in place by a thin plastic snap.
The M500 performs very well with Vodafone Greece, and John T. also highlights that the wristphone also plays video files. The onboard storage is though limited with 128MB.
The M500 wristphone is available at the SMS Technology site right now for about $820. The company works on distributor deals and the watch phone should be available locally soon.
