German Handelsblatt reports that German Balda AG is delivering more iPhone touchscreen as originally ordered by Apple.

The reason for the increase is supposedly a shortage in supply of iPhone touchscreens from Sharp.
Balda and Apple did not comment on this, but Balda plans to expand their plant in China (Xiamen). Balda was actually a big supplier to BenQ Mobile and struggled a bit after the demise of BenQ Mobile. The deal with Apple is getting them back big time as it seems (stock price is rising).
