At CES 2002, Casio introduced the LK-43 (MSRP: $269.00) lighted keyboard. The 61 full-size keyed, 12-Note Polyphonic MIDI instrument teaches by lighting up the correct keys for the melody and chords, but it also has a "Voice Guide" that tells students the proper fingering to use. The LK-43 comes with 100 built-in songs. A variety of "key-lit" songs ($3.99) are available to download into the keyboard through a special Casio website.
Kendra Friend, a student demonstrator for Casio, talks about LK-40 in our exclusive audio interview from the CES 2002 show floor.
