In 2006 Japanese Kohjinsha introduced the Kohjinsha SA1F00A and SA1F00B UMPCs with the neat twistable screen design and full QWERTY keyboard. Now the company updated their UMPCs with several improvements.
The new Kohjinsha SH series is based on the Intel Ultra Mobile Platform 2007 and the Intel A100 CPU and runs Windows Vista.
New features include a digital TV receiver (wansegu) and a web camera. Other feature highlights of the Kohjinsha SH UMPCs are 7 inch TFT screen with 1024x600px resolution, 100GB HDD drive, 1GB RAM, VGA port, USB 2.0,
The measurements of the new Kohjinsha UMPC are 227x170x25.4mm~33mm.
The new Kohjinsha SH series starts at a reasonable price of 99,800 Yen (~$814) and comes in sexy Apple white or black.
More details on the Kohjinsha site (Japanese). Via AkihabaraNews.
The Kohjinsha SA series is available from Dynamism, so I assume the will carry the SH series as soon as it becomes available end of this month.
