All you have to do to understand what kind of gunk a mouse collects is go to any hoe or office where a shared computer sits. Add kids into the equation and you are likely to see a yellowed, chocolate covered mouse with dried Coke stains on it.
Belkin has developed a new mouse that is washable so it can be cleaned without fear of damaging it. Belkin also claims that the mouse works on a variety of surfaces including upholstery and wood, which might make it ideal for your media center PC.
The mouse is USB powered and uses a high-resolution sensor with 1200 dpi sensitivity. A scroll pad on the mouse allows you to scroll horizontally and vertically with a touch. Availability is set for later august of this year and the price is $29.99. Via Belkin
