BlackBerry 8830 World Phone Available Next Month

Today Sprint announced that starting next month world travelers will be able to get the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition Smartphone. The 8830 has a full QWERTY keyboard and measures in at 4.49” x 2.6” x 0.55” and weighs 4.6 ounces.
The 8830 World Edition Smartphone is a digital Quad-band design and can operate on CDMA 1XRTT/EV-DO Rev. 0 (1900MHz and 800 MHz), and GSM/GPRS (900 MHz and 1800 MHz. Data access is via Sprint’s EV-DO Rev. 0 network.
GPS capabilities are built in and the processor is a Qualcomm MSM6550. Screen size is 320 x 240 and it displays65k colors. The SIM portion is unlocked and will accept any international carriers SIM cards. Via Sprint
